The Woodward Police Department has been protecting the City of Woodward since the 1800's.

It is the mission of the Woodward Police Department to serve all citizens and visitors of Woodward with respect, fairness, and professionalism.  We are committed to the preservation of peace, order, safety, and the protection of life and property.

The Woodward Police Department will seek to continually enhance the quality of life in Woodward by holding ourselves to the highest ethical and professional standards.  All employees of the Woodward Police Department are committed to the concept of community policing.

With the City of Woodward as our motivation, we will strive to continually improve the quality of life through the professional investigation and resolution of problems.
